"Sisters" by Ija Charles

We are delighted to partner with Puzzles of Color, a local, woman-owned Richardson business, and carry their thoughtfully curated puzzle collection in our shop. Each puzzle showcases vibrant, culturally rich artwork created by a talented artist of color. Designed to spark connection, conversation, and creativity, these puzzles are more than just a pastime. They’re art you can build, piece by piece. When you purchase a Puzzles of Color jigsaw puzzle from us, you’re supporting two woman-owned businesses and celebrating art, representation, and community.

In a field of sunflowers, these “Sisters” demonstrate the true joy of kinship by nature, nurture, and choice. As a companion piece to Black Boy Joy, artist Ija Charles once again captures the beauty of childhood and the connections on which we grow to depend.

Reminiscent of fun and connection, this jigsaw puzzle is a thoughtful choice for a girls’ night, family reunion, or time spent reminiscing. Enjoy piecing it together while sharing family time and conversations.

Puzzles of Color introduces you to artistic work that captures the mind and delights the soul. It introduces artwork and the genius of artists of color of African, Indigenous American, Indian, Latin, and Asian heritage.
